All about service investigations

Magura NGO joined the creation of a new training course in the Army+ application

A new training course “Service Investigation” is now available in the Army+ application. It will help servicemen understand the procedure for conducting service investigations, correctly establish the circumstances of events and make well-founded decisions at all stages. The course explains when a service investigation is assigned, how to organize its conduct, what rights servicemen have and how to avoid common mistakes when processing the results.

The course will be useful to everyone who works with disciplinary issues, service inspections and making decisions based on the results of service investigations.

The training consists of eight lessons that cover the main stages of a service investigation: from the reasons for the appointment to the processing of the results and conducting service inspections.

Servicemen will learn:

• in which cases a service investigation is mandatory;

• how to determine the subject of a service investigation and establish all the important circumstances of the event;

• what are the deadlines for conducting a service investigation;

• what rights does a serviceman have during its conduct;

• when does material liability for damaged or lost property arise;

• how to properly draw up the results of an official investigation and keep records.

The course pays special attention to the official investigation: its features, tasks and differences from an official investigation.

The course was created at the initiative of the Main Directorate of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The partner in creating the course is the public organization "Magura".
