The nationwide archery competition “Warriors Cup” took place in the Lviv region, bringing together veterans from 19 regions of Ukraine.

A member of the NGO “Magura,” Heorhii Hordus, demonstrated a high level of skill, earning several awards:
• 1st place in the team event (as part of the Odesa regional team)
• 3rd place in the individual veterans’ category
• earning the title of Candidate for Master of Sports of Ukraine

Earlier, Heorhii also won 1st place at the national competition “On the Wave” in Odesa in the advanced division.

Heorhii Hordus is a war veteran who has been serving in combat since 2014. During the full-scale invasion, he took part in the defense of Kyiv, conducted combat missions in the Zaporizhzhia direction, and fought near Avdiivka. He served in the 114th Territorial Defense Brigade and the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

For his courage in battle, he was awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd Class.
